主持國家自然科學基金（NSFC）、國家高新技術研究發展計劃子題（863項目）、國家水體污染控制與治理科技重大專項（水專項）子題、國家教育部留學回國人員科研項目啟動基金和企業委托項目，參加新加坡基金會資助的國際合作CREATE項目、水專項、國家環境保護總局和企業委托等科研項目。國內外發表研究論文40余篇，其中SCI收錄的有20余篇，出版著作1本，申請專利7項（目前已獲授權6項），參加各類學術會議30余次。重慶大學學報（英文版）編委。EST, Water Research, Journal of Membrane Science, Separation and Purification Technology等多種SCI期刊的審閱人。世界水協會（IWA）、上海環境科學協會和上海化學和化學工程協會會員。
